Welcome to Niles Gibbs!

Hail and well met! This is my first post on my new blog: NilesGibbs.com.

I dedicate this site to a life goal, which I deceptively summarize as:

To sleep when I’m tired. To eat when I’m hungry.

I’ll be posting articles and linking to other sites that strike my interest. For now, I’ll admit that this site was primarily inspired by three blogs: Lifehacker, The Happiness Project, and Zen Habits.

I’m not new to the Internet, I was online back when everyone’s personal site looked as bad as MySpace. In fact, I’ve designed websites for over a decade, and this is not my first blog.

Normally I design a site’s visual design before I start adding content. However, due to encroaching procrastination, I’ve decided to jump ahead and start posting content before creating the site’s “look”.

To that effect, I’m running WordPress because I love it. Hopefully I’ll have a customized theme up soon.
